BLONDE WALTZ – The Perfect Dark LP (1987)

Coming out of the shadows is this mercurial indie trio hailing from Lincoln, Nebraska. Yes, they did have a once thriving alternative music scene there or maybe Omaha was more appropriate. You will be treated to great guitar work coupled with a unique low toned raspy vocalist that sounds like he could have been right at home with some of the more commercially successful indie alternative rock acts at the time - The Church, Waterboys, The Pogues, etc…They do have some extra help on some songs and also employ a synthesizer on others….Private pressing on Chrome Angel Records, Lincoln, NE. Its obscure, just the way we like it, but not that hard to find…A few highlights are posted below:::

“Everything Tonight”

“I Love A Russian”

“I Hear An Army”
