November starts off with a stellar release by - - DEMARS - - A hip electro pop Canadian foursome based out of Quebec in the early-mid 80’s. The band was founded by Michel Demars, who handled vocal and synthesizer duties. Their music is effectively dark, emotive and of course wickedly driven by the synths……Check out the stand out track “Torn To Pieces” which has a sinister electronic synth backdrop. If you enjoy the likes of LisFrank, NEON and other dark Italian minimal synth groups, you may find this a pleasing alternative from the British North American modern set scene…A four song extended play independently released via Zarat Express, Quebec…and for those collectors who seek out the vinyl, it can get a little pricey, but for now…take in these infectious cuts below:::
