FOREVER 19 – Come As You Were Born LP (198?)

Here’s an East Coast band that looks to be out of the Boston area in the mid 80s, but there is little to no information to be found on them. Their very obscure album via Autograph Records has exceptional strong synth lines and unique vocal treatments. All 10 songs are consistently solid, but a few standout from the pack – “Questions” - with its sheer driving intensity and the exceedingly infectious synth workout of “Beside You”….If there is info out there, please do contact..thanks…

Side One
Wings of decay
In your eyes
See me now
The hero
Watch the skies go red

Side Two
Questions
Beside you
Place in your heart

  3. I was the drummer. We were a Boston rock club band from 1983-1987. we played most of the available rooms. "In Your Eyes" was a Top 50 song for 1986 on WFNX. We broke up after our performance at the 1987 WBCN Rock and Roll Rumble @ The Paradise. Good times. Fun band. Great guys and girl in hindsight. I feel less obscure now!

  4. I was the keyboardist. Great times! My favorite gig was opening for The Tubes at The Channel.

    1. Hey Oot,
I thought I was the only one skulking around in the past. The Channel was always fun. I liked our shows at Jack's in Cambridge, too.
