A.S. ANOVA – Motivation Termination Dance LP (1989)
A.S. Anova was a female led 80’s synth wave group based out of Denver, Colorado. Information on the band seems to be nonexistent. Their music on the other hand sounds more rooted in the early 80's new wave scenes, with its chirpiness of synths, relentless guitar work and a Dale Bozzio voice clone at times. Listen to the songs “Glitterboy” and “You Pulled The Plug” and you would think you were listening to a Missing Person’s album. That’s not necessarily a bad thing. Motivation Termination Dance turns out to be quite the catchy release for this independent and unknown obscurity…Out of print private pressing via Electrolyte Records…
